Istanbul Laleli Mosque Restoration
The Laleli Mosque was built between 1760-1763 by the Ottoman Sultan Mustafa III, and it is the mosque that gave its name to the neighborhood. The name of the mosque comes from Laleli Baba, who was considered the patron saint by Sultan Mustafa III, and it was given to this place of worship in his honor.
